Coming unboxed Painting

Hello, I am a self trained artist. I live eat breath anything creative. I love to paint & do it every single day. I started painting when I was a little girl. My grandmother took me along to an oil painting class. I was 8 & I was hooked. My grandmother encouraged me to paint in my spare time & always supplied me with the tools to do so. She bragged about my first paintings showing them to her friends. I really developed a passion for painting in my early 20's. Don't get me wrong as a child I loved it too. I find painting to be therapeutic. It helps me to work out my emotions & that creative itch. I get inspired & just have to express the idea or feeling on to canvas. My journey has really started to pay off as far as the quality of my work. I can actually see that all that practice has proven to be successful. I have created some really beautiful pieces of art. It surprises me every time. It gives me a quite satisfaction to know that I created something so very beautiful. I still have a lot to learn. I am willing and ready and try everyday to learn something knew and grow my skills as an artist. I am just now trying to put my art out there for others to see. I feel ready now. I think that the expression of my creativity on canvas is something I love to share because I believe it can bring a touch of unique beauty into others world. I like to make others happy and if my art can change an environment into somewhere thats got a good vibe & add something beautiful to look at. I want that more than anything. I want to affect this world and others world in a beautiful way. My style is abstract expressionism sometimes just abstract. I enjoy patterns and Flowers are my thing. I use household paint & acrylics along with mica powder pigments . I use the pure pigment mixed with a binder because the colors are so much more vibrant. I love the iridescent look I can accomplish only with these powders. I usually have this iridescent sheen incorporated into all of my art. It doesn't show up in the pictures. My art is better appreciated when viewed in person. The color shifting iridescent quality just is activated by light. I wish that this showed in the pictures of my art. I know this style is unique & maybe not for everyone but I'm sure there's a few who would definitely love it. I have a process before I start each painting. I set an intention of some sort of inner healing that needs addressing. I then express what ever inspiration has come into my mind and heart.
