Who am I? I am an artist that love to paint and express my feelings through my paintings. 53 years ago I was born in Armenia. At that time Armenia was part of the Soviet Union. At the age of 24, I had to flee with my husband and my 3.5-month-old baby. Until I was 22, I had a life full of Love, harmony and great memories. Full of wonderful adventures as a young girl, I loved to sail, to sing, to dance and dream. Of course life wasn't always a "party and joy", but from my parents I learned to keep going and pursue your dreams. Unfortunately, that life was completely turned upside down with the sudden death of my mother. Same year, after being ill and bedridden for 6 months, my father died. And so within 1 year I lost both of my parents. From that moment on I lost myself as a person, as an individual. Even 3 years of war, hunger, cold and dark has had no such a big impact than the death of my mother. Then we had to flee. In a foreign country, with a baby, without family, friends and in an uncertainty. Uncertainty about the future and safety of my child, my husband and myself. But as I learned - keep going, don't give up. Since 8 years I am constantly searching for my self. Who am I, how am I, what do I find important, beautiful. Do I like myself? So, yes. Who am I. I am Galik (as my father called me). I am a single mother of 2 children. Have a high education, permanent job. I am very interested in Human being and psychology and in life. I love painting, that's my passion, my colors and aura that I want to present to the world. And I hope the world needs that. So, that is Me.
