Chicas Painting

Naci en La Plata, provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina, en 1966. Estudie diseño gráfico y luego comencé a adentrarme en el mundo de la pintura; primero de forma autodidacta y más tarde seguí mis estudios en los talleres de los artistas Lido Iacopetti en mi ciudad natal y Ana Eckell, en Buenos Aires. Participe en numerosas exposiciones individuales y colectivas. Mis obras se encuentran en colecciones privadas de EEUU y España. De comienzos abstractos, mis pinturas se encaminan al mundo surrealista, en donde me siente libre para jugar con las formas y las figuras, a las que fusiono, modifico y metamorfoseo creando una visión onírica y fantástica sin dejar de ser por ello una crítica y una narración de la vida diaria. Actualmente vivo en San Rafael, Mendoza, Argentina donde retomo mi actividad plástica rodeado de mi otra pasión: la vida rural. I was born in La Plata, Buenos Aires province, Argentina, in 1966. I studied graphic design and then I began to enter the world of painting; first in a self-taught way and later I continued my studies in the workshops of the artists Lido Iacopetti in my hometown and Ana Eckell, in Buenos Aires. Take part in numerous solo and group exhibitions. My works are in private collections in the US and Spain. From abstract beginnings, my paintings go to the surrealist world, where I feel free to play with shapes and figures, which I merge, modify and metamorphose, creating a dreamlike and fantastic vision without ceasing to be a critic and a narration of daily life. I currently live in San Rafael, Mendoza, Argentina where I resume my artistic activity surrounded by my other passion: rural life.
