𝗘𝘃𝗮-𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗺𝗶𝗱( 11 January 1996) is a Swiss painter, sculptor, fashion and accessories designer. She is known for her explorative and experimental approach to art, characterized by a diverse range of creative expressions and techniques. Schmid's artistic journey commenced in Möhlin, Switzerland, and further blossomed during her time in France after relocating to Fuveau. Here, she immersed herself in collaborative artistic ventures, painting alongside fellow artists and showcasing her evolving works in exhibitions across the South of France. Returning to Switzerland in 2015, Eva-Maria embarked on a transformative academic pursuit at the Academy of Arts and Design in Basel. While initially studying fashion design and earning both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in the field, her artistic curiosity extended beyond the confines of fashion. Embracing a more expansive canvas, she transitioned her focus to visual arts, where her creativity flourished through a myriad of experimental techniques and mediums. Eva-Maria's artistry is defined by her penchant for exploration and her willingness to push the boundaries of traditional artistic norms. Her creations are a testament to her fearless experimentation, drawing inspiration from her immediate environment, particularly her garden, while infusing her works with an array of textures, colors, and innovative methodologies.
