Artist, Nicole Troup, lives with her husband and two children in Greencastle, PA. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Pennsylvania College of Art and Design in Lancaster and is currently working as a commissioned portrait artist for private and official commissions. Some of her clients include WWE wrestler Titus O’Neil, doctors, local clients and Summit Health of Franklin County who commissioned her to paint their retired CEO, Norman Epstein. She has also painted former PA Governor, Tom Corbett. Outside her commissioned work she enjoys collaborating with public figures and celebrities to bring attention to special causes or for specific projects. These celebrities include: actors Michael Shannon and Alan Cumming, actresses Erica Ash and Madeline Carroll, Machine Gun Preacher, WWE superstar Titus O’Neill, models and among others. The collaborations include an initial contact with the person to create a painted portrait of them through the sharing of ideas and photo references that evolve into a finished product. The painting and limited edition prints are sometimes autographed by the celebrity and are then offered for sale to their fans and supporters. Aside from her career as a portrait artist, Nicole teaches art classes and paint nights to children and adults in her Greencastle, PA studio and in local galleries and venues. Her work experience includes teaching at Montessori Academy, art camps and adult classes in Maryland and Pennsylvania at Howard’s Art Store & Frames, the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts, the Council for the Arts, Gallery 50 in Waynesboro and among other locations.
