Blue Sky Kitchen Dancing brings together forward looking action comics and conservative retro ads. It is an allegory about what pushes you forward and what pulls you back in life. Fragments of imagery come together in a playful, colorful, swirling piece, much like life itself.

Elizabeth's work reflects her identity as an immigrant/traveler, an architect, a woman. She explores the psychology of familiar issues using figurative images inserted into abstract backgrounds, these often reminiscent of the urban landscapes she has lived in or the highway landscapes she has traveled through. In doing so, she expresses the impact of the individual-environment dynamic on life's outcomes in a way that is both playful and serious. Elizabeth's current series, entitled "Choices," is about young women and their three key themes -- life choices, health, and media -- each with aspects and outcomes that can be positive or negative, depending on the individual/environment dynamic. Elizabeth express this ambiguity in her work, hinting at the issues but leaving it up to the viewer to decide what the outcome might be.
