Kavya Reddy , believes that art is one of the purest forms of expressions in the world. Her paintings depict her expressions of knowledge and love for Indian culture and traditions. She has exhibited her paintings in over 20 art exhibitions across the country and internationally. Her paintings are in private collections of various Art Collectors Nationally and in USA, Dubai, Malasia & Singapore Kavya plays with soft muted colours and themes. She creates and evokes love and serenity in her paintings, ranging from culture specific traditional context to the colorful hues of nature. She is extremely imaginative, prolific and a resourceful artist. You can see this in her illustrations and involvement with Art Phoenix magazine India, as a concept artist and editor and also her creative involvement with Ogilvy & Mather for their client Vodafone. The art magazines and Newspapers, have taken great pride and interest in having Kavya be a part of their content and brand. Kavya is trained under Michael Mentler at Society of Figurative Arts Dallas, USA. Her love and passion for art has led her to regularly undertake workshops for children and be their guiding force in honing their skills and interest in art. With her beautiful application of creative skill and imagination, she produces works which are extremely exquisite, in their beauty and emotional power. Kavya’s art is inspired from her strong roots in Indian Art, culture, traditions and Nature. Her creations range from human art forms to the vibrancy of Nature. Kavya has beautifully created the saga of love and devotion through her Meera Series. She captures Meera’s visual state of mind, lost in her beloved Krishna. With the Meera Series, she celebrates Meera and her devotion and love to Krishna Moving from her Meera Series of love and devotion , she portrays the Shivaye Gowri Series which is a Beautiful blend of soft and vibrant colors depicting the creator, preserver and the destroyer.The human forms are blended with bold strokes reflecting the emotional power and love of Shiva. From bold strokes of human forms, Kavya also reveals her exquisite yet strong expressive brush strokes in her Blossom Series. Each floral art is pulsed with energy, she creates a combination of deep, bright and vibrant colors of petals, blossoming into blushes of wonderful warmth and beauty of nature.
