Born in the Netherlands, had already some Expositions during her Studies since 1997 . In 2002 she came to live and work in Hamburg, Germany. Her work, mostly Collagen with integrated painting and comiclike drawings create a combination between symbolism and pop-art. In her paintings the artist processes social and educational themes, also gives a voice to controversial themes like seksual discrimination of women and the contradiction in the representation of advertising. Almost intuitiv she collects various facets to the theme, inserts then cuttings out of newspapers and magazines, sometimes objects. She utileses symbols, that the observer can unconsciously classify. Her works explode in a lake of colours, are eventfull at the same time static. Fotorealistic filles are combined with geometrical forms and then figures are imbedded. Sometimes painted, but in older collages little cut out pin-ups. Her paintings contains visual feral statements, that animates the observer to think about the theme. The artist shows her artwork in most cases as a installation. For example her Flakes Project(in which sexismus in the foodadvertisement is satirized) for which the artist self handed build a supermarket set. For the presentation of her Pinup collection, first the paintings were covered. A invited burlesque dancer revealed the paintings during a strip dance. The form of presentation has become a trademark of the artist. Ihre Arbeiten, zumeist Collagen mit eingebundener Malerei, und Comiczeichnungen schaffen eine Verknüpfung zwischen Symbolismus und Popart. In Ihren Bildern verarbeitet die Künstlerin gesellschaftliche und pädagogische Themen, äußert sich aber auch zu brisanten Themen wie sexuelle Diskriminierung von Frauen oder die Widersprüchlichkeit in der Abbildung von Werbung. Fast intuitiv sammelt sie verschiedene Facetten zum Thema ein, fügt anschliessend Ausschnitte aus Zeitungen Alben oder Zeitschriften, manchmal auch Materialien und benutzt Symbole, die der Betrachter unbewusst schnell einordnen kann. Ihre Bilder explodieren in einem Farbenmeer, sind bewegt und gleichzeitig statisch. Fotorealistische Akte verbindet sie mit Geometrien und bettet dann Figuren ein.
