With a five-year course dedicated to painting, drawing, sculpture, and graphic design, she has honed her skills and developed a strong foundation in various artistic disciplines. Additionally, Joanna is a qualified architect, holding a Master's Degree in Architecture from the University of Technology in Krakow, Poland, and the University of Tennessee, USA. This architectural background adds a unique perspective to her artistic practice, influencing her approach to composition and spatial elements. Joanna primarily works with oil paint on linen canvas, utilizing colour and texture as the primary elements in creating her compositions. Her artworks are characterized by a personal expression and draw inspiration from Polish KaPists and abstract artists such as Mark Rothko and Howard Hodgkin. Through her artistic journey, Joanna continually explores the interplay between form, color, and emotion, inviting viewers to engage with her work on a visceral level. Her artworks serve as a visual language through which she communicates her experiences, thoughts, and reflections.
