Born. 1976 Orange County, California David Michael Lee, was born and raised in Southern California, holds a BA in photo/studio arts from Columbia College Chicago, and an MFA in drawing, painting and printmaking from California State University Fullerton. He has been teaching at various educational institutions since about the turn of the century and has also held various positions in numerous museums, galleries, and art center where he has, and still curates and organizes private and public art collections. David is the current Director/Curator for the Art Gallery at the Coastline Community College "where big art and ideas intersect with members of the community." He resides with his wife and two children in Laguna Beach CA, approximately 50 miles south of Los Angeles, where he creates his art and where his wife is the Executive Director of the Laguna Art Museum. David's work can be found in a number of public and private collections, including several university collections and the Orange County Museum of Art.
