I love photography that is simple and clean and I think that's visible in my work. As for painting I lean towards abstract expressionism and I'd say that my work jumps between color field and action painting. My strongest influences are Arnold Newman, Yousef Karsh, and Mark Rothko. The brilliance of their work has greatly impacted me. I find that inspiration can come from many sources, but I've often found that ideas come to mind once I start working. So I guess you could say the act of being creative is my primary inspiration. Ultimately, I want to create beautiful photographs and paintings that will bring joy and inspiration to others while providing finacially for my loved ones and myself.
