Above Troubled Waters Painting

I fell in love with painting and creating before attending elementary school and began my career at age 20. I've been painting all my life and this will always be my first passion. I create art to explore the beauty, joy, peace and strength that is woven within our lives. My work reflects the quiet power provided by God within us all and the deep bond we share with the world around us. Through each brushstroke, I aim to inspire reflection and evoke emotion as we celebrate the resilience that lives within every one of us. Through the Milan Art Institute's Mastery Program, I have refined my style of painting as an abstract realist artist. I have a deep passion for exploring diverse mediums in my creative process, which starts with loose acrylic inks and acrylic paint washes. I often use alcohol sprays for unexpected loose shapes, including acrylic spray paint, rollers and the use of a pallet knife which allows me to create textured effects of striking light with lots of bold strokes of paint. This blend of techniques showcases my dedication to evolving in my artistry and pushing my boundaries in my creative expressions.
