my name is federico and I was born in Ivrea (Turin, Italy), in 1970. I am a freelance surveyor with a passion for art handed down to me by my maternal grandfather who owned paintings by Dalì, De Chirico, Morandi and other painters, especially Italian , as a good Tuscan, he painted himself. my parents cultivated my passion which broke out only some time ago with the need to try to paint with my own hand. I am particularly attracted by the surrealism and abstract art of Mirò and Kandinskij, by Sam Francis but also by the action painting of Pollock and by the paintings of Basquiat, Andy Warhol and Keith Haring. I tend to mix the techniques of all these painters, but my unconscious always emerges in my paintings, my intuition, my improvisation and that instinct that prevails when I pick up the brush. In fact, my paintings are often different from each other and a marked and defined style is not distinguished because each painting is a story, a different emotion of mine. When some paintings are similar it is because the mood was the same on both occasions. Paintings are rarely studied and thought up. Often the emotional sensation is left to the eyes and the imagination of the beholder, as if his paintings were the work of the observer's imagination, as if his paintings try to bring out the imagination of the beholder and that's it. that the phrase "but what do you see?" is often added to the title of the painting. Married and father of two girls, who are also passionate about painting, I live and work in Ivrea. As soon as a free moment arises, I immerse myself in painting, but often these moments are searched for between one work commitment and another. As if I were looking for spaces to arrive in front of a canvas and strongly express the idea that I have in my head at that moment and that I would like to make known with tenacity, physically throwing the imagination onto the canvas
