ABC Liquor Painting

Jeff Yeomans is continually inspired by the changing facets of Southern California. He works to document it's urban and rural perspectives, and the interactions of people in our daily experiences. He explains: "My work is a visual journal of who we are and how we live. I hope my paintings are relevant today -- as well as to future generations." His work has been exhibited in Italy at the "˜05 Florence Biennial, the California Heritage Museum, the Pasadena Museum of California Art, Laguna Art Museum and Oceanside Museum of Art. A recipient of numerous awards, he was selected as an "Artist to Watch" by Southwest Art Magazine and International Artist Magazine featured his work in a 10-page article in 2009. In 2008, Yeomans was awarded "Best Urban Landscape" by Art Ltd. Magazine at the California Art Club's 97th Annual Gold Medal Exhibition. He is also proud of a painting commissioned for the Naval Hospital in San Diego that features surfing as a part of the physical therapy program in support of the "Wounded Warriors" project. Seven of his paintings are included in "Land of Sunlight" a book of landscape paintings of the San Diego region. Two of his paintings were also selected for an upcoming book celebrating 100 years of California landscapes, published by Rizzoli and the California Art Club. He is an Artist Member of the California Art Club, Signature Member of the Laguna Plein Air Painters Association, the San Diego Art Institute and the La Jolla Art Association. He is represented by Art Expressions Gallery in San Diego and Studio 7 Gallery in Laguna Beach, CA.
