GOMONOV Leonid Mikhailovich was born on November 22, 1953 in the town of Slavgorod, Mogilev region. In 1974 he graduated from the Minsk Art College. A. K. Glebov. In 1991 - the Belarusian State Theater and Art Institute (since 1991 - the Academy of Arts). 1991 - a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Since 1981 he has been a participant in all-Union, republican, international exhibitions and competitions. Annually takes part in international plein airs on painting. The works are in museums, galleries and private collections of Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Slovakia, Poland, Germany, France, Norway, Denmark, the USA, China, Israel, Serbia, Montenegro, Turkey, Palestine, Vietnam, Canada. In 2006, at the Congress of the Heads of Cities, Moscow, was awarded the International Charity Fund "Patrons of the Century" with medals "Philanthropist" and "In the name of life on earth" - for the nobility of thoughts and deeds. 2010 - Corresponding Member of the International Academy of Culture and Art (Moscow). 2010 - awarded the medal "For the sake of life on earth" for his participation in the First Moscow International Art Open Air in the park "Museon". Since 2005 - chairman of the jury of the annual International Competition children's drawing "On their land". 2013 - awarded the medal "For Merit" II degree.
