Elizabeth Mathis is an artist photographer. Born the 09/07/1963 in France, she move to London in her twenties in lived there for 22 years. Now back in her natal France in the French Riviera (Nice), she had numerous photographic exhibitions in both London and France. Her previous work , predominantly in black and white, use to cover live performances at many renowned venues. Now, with the age of digital, she plays with contrast, erases the non-essential to display lines, forms and curves, to capture a shade, an emotion or a moment with strong texture and colors. Her pictures focus on sudden motion or sincere details . Urban art or ugly beautiful. It is with the soul that we grasped the essence of others, it is with her the photos that E M wants to feel the essence of humanity. There where pictures give birth to buried feelings.
