Beginning and ending of conflict Artwork

CG Ensch creates abstract algorithmic photo-collages, which depict the changing qualities of light and emotion. His artworks invite you to explore your individual perception: The interpretation of these artworks varies by emotional and personal state. The creative process: CG Ensch collects "impressions" in the form of photographic snapshots, from which he then cuts out pictorial, mostly abstract, tiles. While his self-developed, experimental parametric algorithms digitally arrange those tiles, CG Ensch conducts the parameters that influence the arrangement (lightness, rotation, spacing, coordinates, etc.), and occasionally adds more principles of gathering and putting such parameters into relation. The artworks finally are the result of manual combination of various layers of collages. Carl Gustav Ensch (1974) lives and works in Zürich, Switzerland. He is a self-taught experimental artist.
