I've always been artistically inclined and woodworking was a God Send along with the material I re-assemble, without altering the Live Edge of the wood. It all started back in the summer of 1999, I was living on Vancouver Island, I used to love beach combing, ohh the treasures I wood find, well this one particularly hot day,I was hiking along Sombra Beach (surfers paradise), that day a high tide was rolling in, I found myself walking closer to the tree line I came around a corner to find a small cove surrounded by a shear cliff with jagged rocks, whole massive trees wedged into the nooks and crannies of the rock wall, out in the distance I saw a white cap rolling in (rogue wave), in this little cove there where logs, planks and debris floating about, I climbed up the rocks to get out of the way of this dangerous wave, as it got closer to shore it was growing in size and height, I started to panic scrambling my way up a good 50 feet over moss laden rock to a ledge when the wave hit, it picked up everything floating in the cove and smashed it into the rocks and trees, when the wave retreated a few planks were wedged level into the branches of the trees, then it hit me WOW, Do you see what I see.. well here we are, after years of trial and error, cuts and stitches, here I am reassembling dead and fallen trees, giving them a new personality in the form of Unique Natural Furniture and Games Tables. If I can see it in my minds eye, I can build it. So next time your in Mother Nature's Garden let your Imagination run wild. Just imagine the possibilities. I am always open to new ideas and even advise. Become a Member of Our Family Tree. Look deep into Nature, Here You will find True Strength. (Einstein) I guarantee my furniture for Life, well my life anyway. I use all local hardwood, dead and fallen, all reclaimed from forest floors, lakes and rivers. A Creation of Beauty is a Joy Forever, After all, isn't Great Art a Celebration of Nature?
