Hi! My name is Vladislav Verin. I am 33 years old. I live in the city of Rostov-on-Don, Russia. I graduated from the Rostov Art School (Department of Design) and the Southern Federal University (Faculty of Fine Arts). At the moment I teach at the children's art school. Most of my works are made in the watercolor technique of layer-by-layer layering and the technique of drawing with charcoal. The basis of artistic images is the creation of a form with the help of color and light, and not the filling of previously drawn or conceived forms with color. The plot is born directly in the process of working on the picture: first, the artist is looking for a balance between light, darkness and color, and only then, gradually, from these combinations, the author's vision is born and associative images arise. Why are watercolors and charcoal the main materials — Because they are very plastic, they can be used to convey space and light very expressively on a flat sheet, on which, fusing, color and shape come to life, creating their own rhythm and dynamics.
