Immobile Drawing

I was born in Rome in 1983. Drawing has been the privileged means to express myself since childhood, which led me to choose artistic studies as soon as possible, enrolling at an artistic high school in Rome, after which I graduated with honors, at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, at the Chair of painting of the master Andrea Volo. Both during the academic period and afterwards, I was present in several art publications and I participated in art exhibitions and residencies in Italy and abroad. In December 2008 my first personal exhibition Astral Concepts took place at the L'Acquario di Roma gallery, where I exhibited works whose poetics develop on the relationship between the human face and its identity, metaphorically linked to the unfathomable distance of the stars. whose light travels unbridgeable distances. In March 2014 the ilbro "When men did not have wings" (Polìmata editions) was published, which contains my ink drawings which were exhibited in the personal exhibition "Pagine Aperte" at the 291 East gallery, curated by of Giovanna from the Church. Inspired by the book, a review takes place in three editions involving numerous artists. In 2016 a second monographic collection "Horizontal Vertical, free visions and interpretations" was published (published by Progetto Cultura) aimed at documenting all the graphic production of the last 5 years. In collaboration with the artist Milena Scardigno, between 2015 and 2017, I created the Arca Project, a monumental drawing selected in the contest organized by the Lazio Region "Lazio Creativo, a hundred stories of creativity", in which it was reported as one of the best one hundred creative projects in the Lazio region carried out in 2017, first in the section and visual arts. The work was exhibited at the Museum of Rome in Trastevere in an exhibition under the care of Giovanna dalla Chiesa from 11 July to 8 September 2019. In 2020 the work Arca was published in a monograph published by Ali Ribelli Edizioni. Also in collaboration with the artist Milena Scardigno from September to December 2019, I created the "Metamuseo" project at the Macro museum in via Nizza Rome, within the Macro Asilo project by Giorgio de Finis.
