Francesco Pagliarulo nasce a Noicattaro (Bari) il 4 Agosto del 1962 e dopo aver conseguito il diploma presso il Liceo Artistico di Bari, decide di lasciare la sua terra e parte per Roma dove inizia la carriera da ritrattista. Lavora come illustratore per la Corrado Tedeschi Editore (dal 1988 al 2012), Trasferitosi in Toscana diventa allievo di shodo (arte della calligrafia Giapponese) con il Maestro Norio Negayama e si diploma 3° Dan della “Japan educational calligraphy” di Tokyo Negli anni Novanta Pagliarulo si cimenta nella tecnica dell’affresco che esegue sia in spazi pubblici che privati e nella produzione di graffiti, realizzati ad esempio durante l’evento “sgraffiti a Casoli” di cui è curatore artistico dal 2009.
