My gardian angel is sad and worried. I do collage portraits. The idea is to recycle old magazines. I like the idea of recycling - cut them into pieces and combine shapes and colors like a mosaic to make a portrait and express emotions.

I was born in Riga, Latvia, during the winter of 1975. Today, I live and pursue my artistic career in Aix-en-Provence, France. From an early age, I was fascinated by paper crafts, meticulously cutting out figures and sketching faces from paintings with pencils. During my adolescence, I took lessons at the Rosenthal Art School in Riga, where I explored various artistic techniques. Over time, I developed my skills in textile painting and weaving, later expanding my creative journey into makeup artistry, body painting, and graphic design. Each of these experiences contributed to shaping my unique artistic vision. This eclectic background has led me to a distinctive and surreal artistic practice: the creation of paper mosaic collage portraits that merge reality with imagination. Infused with a vibrant pop-art aesthetic, my compositions reconstruct fragmented images from magazines, transforming fleeting visuals into bold, dreamlike portraits. Through unexpected juxtapositions and intricate layering, I craft faces that evoke both familiarity and mystery, challenging perception and inviting deeper interpretation. The strength and originality of my work have been widely recognized. My creative inspiration is deeply influenced by the works of Yorozu Tetsugoro, Picasso, and Robert Rauschenberg.
