ABOUT THE ARTWORK
DETAILS AND DIMENSIONS
SHIPPING AND RETURNS

Collage, acrylic, and polyurethane on wood panel. This work was inspired by the Spanish poet, Federico Garcia Lorca. In particular by his poem, "Song Of The Barren Orange Tree", translated into english by W.S. Merwin. The images in this work are from my imagination and not from any actual trees....

My work has been reviewed by The Los Angeles Times, Artscene, among other publication and in included in several catalogs and books. ARTIST STATEMENT: My work is about layers and I use nature, trees in particular, to symbolize humankind and life experiences. For me using the tree image is very personal and complex. A single tree has the power to represent the human condition, as we stand morally strong or physically frail, bending resiliently with the wind or succumbing to the storm. Above all else I want my work to present a sense of beauty and introspection.
