Attempt to reach the light is a mosaic made with the special technique of hand-cut mosaic tiles places on a wooden board adding the peculiarity of the use of the gaps as lines. The work is about the attempt of Human beings to reach harmony, god, heaven, "the Light". We all desire to reach a stage of inner peace which we all have at some point in our lives, but the aim is much higher, and it calls for constant, infinite peace. This work shows many hands trying to reach the center which is the point of light, the heaven where we will all end up one day. This artwork is round.
