I made this work as below... As to cherries and aluminum foil, At first, the right side of aluminum foil has the state of mirror surface and it it too bright, so putting the cherries on its back side, lighting them and I took dozens of their photos while considering their arrangement. Then selecting the best one from the photos, cropping the part with good balance and I took it as the composition of this painting. The winkle of aluminum foil is the key point of this work, and a lot of winkles are very complicated but look the same and botheration was such that I lost where I painted every time when moving my eyes to the photos on the screen while I drew this painting looking at the best photo, so it was a very time-consuming task until having drawn the figure clearly in some degree. However, because of the light reflected from the winkles of aluminum foil, more the light shines on shiny cherries like jewels and so I think that I could present their further sparkle. As to making the frame, after building the frame, it also took much time to paint it. At first, I laid the black base coat on and dried it, then laid the white base coat on additionally and dried it. After that, I laid the blue grey acrylics on a several times and during the process where it made darker tone, each time, I combined the painting with the frame to check their contrast and stopped to laid when the contrast became the best. After drying, I performed aging with slightly sanding paper down. At last, laying the brownish and greenish transparent colored acrylics a few times, I got to make the frame deep colored.
