Printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308g Fine Art paper. This is 'delirious são paulo', my signature series, which through the use of camera movement and long exposures translates the city landscape the way I feel it, in all the intensity of its colors, lines and instability. It's a very personal work, representing a way of seeing the city, almost like a conversation with it. My work isn't just a translation of what I see with my eyes. The landscape I recreate is much more the outcome of what I feel, my emotions and thoughts. It's hybrid and mutant, and I like that its language can play with the media, making the photo look like a painting, or incorporating aspects of texture and volume, going beyond the two-dimensionality of the print. This way I try to amplify and make visible to all the aspects that are most dear to me.

My artistic work is mainly an exploration of elements that remind me of my previous training in architecture and design: the aesthetic leans towards a formal arrangement that privileges few aspects, valuing plans, shapes, colors and textures. In this context, the fine adjustment of light and shadow, alignments and proportions stands out. Landscape is my main theme, not in its most classic version, but as an expression of my own vision of spaces. I also like to bring personal interests and questions as subjects. These could be the shapes I see in the city and emotional aspects, as in the series 'delirious são paulo delirante', nature and wildlife as in 'white fire' or even visual patterns, textures and geometries seen in 'what goes with the wind'. I often add 'time' and 'motion' as components in my composition. Through techniques such as intentional camera movement (ICM) and long exposures, I seek to explore and visually translate my sensations regarding the themes discussed. My works are not just static cuts of what is seen, but a mixture of physical reality with my own artistic and emotional interpretation. Scenes that are seemingly ordinary can appear in a particular perspective when viewed through my lens.
