VIEW IN MY ROOM
In this enchanting watercolor titled "Looking Straight into the Sun," the artist captures a unique moment of introspection. The background infused with yellow hues evokes the brightness of the sun, creating a warm and vibrant atmosphere. The woman in the painting, without revealing her face, becomes an enigmatic figure. Her hair, tinged with reddish tones, unfolds in an "x" shape, artistically covering her face. This pose suggests a profound introspection, as if the woman is shielding herself from the intensity of the light or seeking answers in the sun's glow. "Looking Straight into the Sun" plays with the duality of time. The sun, represented by the yellow glow, symbolizes temporal constancy, while the "x" shape created by the woman's hair suggests a pause, a reflection that challenges the linearity of time. The choice not to reveal the face invites viewers to project their own experiences onto the artwork, establishing a unique connection with the theme and the unfolding time before them.

Zoe Lunar radiates and works in Mexico City, is a graduate of the national school of painting, sculpture and engraving "La Esmeralda". He is an artist in constant formation, who seeks plastic, visual and sound experimentation. His work feeds on time as matter and how it helps to interpret reality, through temporal representations, of spaces that converge in their social context and how this influences the formation and interpretation of our different contemporary realities; making use of the qualities of painting and drawing to make deformations in a perceptive portrait of different moments, and personal times in a single interpretation. He is currently nurturing his plastic work especially in painting and drawing, giving him new outlets like AR in some of his new works and occasionally making music and video.
