I made an hommage on Kryvolap. He is a great Ukrainian artist, which uses bright expressive colors to impress a vision of Ukrainian landscapes. The most expensive and famous his paintings are with horses. He has 3 paintings with horses: the blue horse on the blue background, red and green (Look on it in the photo carousel) ⠀ Red and blue horses are in the private American collection and the green horse lives in the Ukrainian private collection. ⠀ I saw Kryvolap's green horse in December 2020. He is awesome! ⠀ So in my hommage I imaged what if that green horse would go from the green dark to the light and we could see it clearly? I decided to play with them on my canvas and dream about how it could be. ⠀ So my horse became a fairytale and naive creature. Because Kryvolap is a very serious artist. And his paintings are always deep and focused on Ukrainian symbolism by contemporary style. I wanted to show some light, easy and hope by my vision. At the same time, I wanted to make ironical horse as an opposite to the real painting. __ The painting is ready to hang. Signed on the back.
