I am a Japanese artist born in 1968. I grew up Shiga Prefecture and exposed to the soap movement in the 1970's. The soap movement is an environmental movement started by housewives to protect themselves and their children from water contamination. The soap movement was an ecofeminist movement that was both ecological and women's empowerment. I created the Major Arcana of Tarot cards as a collage combining my own experiences of the soap movement when I was around 10 years old ,myself at that time. The tarot cards refer to the Mother Peace Tarot.
