GREED (See Consumerism) is the desire for material wealth or gain, ignoring the realm of the spiritual (covetousness, avarice) - when somebody wants more things than the person needs or can use. Dante wrote that greed is too much "love of money and power". A very modern interpretation for the Facebook generation. Update: 2021+ - "Ooops!.. I did try and warn you...."
