ABOUT THE ARTWORK

The kitchen thief is named because I likes cats and has affection towards cats. When I saw this picture, I felt like drawing it. Light is very important in this painting. This picture is painted in watercolor. This name was given because I have a cat in my house and I see and enjoy its antics.

As a highly experienced artist with over 25 years of practice, I have developed a deep understanding and passion for using watercolor and acrylic paints to create beautiful pieces of art. Throughout my career, I have honed my skills in the use of these two mediums, experimenting with different techniques and styles to produce truly unique works. Whether I am capturing the beauty of a landscape or expressing the emotions of a portrait, I always strive to create pieces that evoke a sense of beauty, wonder, and connection. In addition to my technical expertise, I am also deeply committed to the creative process. I believe that art is a powerful tool for self-expression, and I am constantly pushing myself to explore new ideas, experiment with new materials, and challenge my own boundaries as an artist. In addition to my extensive experience as an artist, I am also proud to have served as a member of the Indian Navy for 15 years. During my time in the Navy, I was able to develop valuable leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills that have proven to be invaluable throughout my career. As an arts club in-charge and instructor at the Indian Naval Academy, I was able to combine my passion for art with my leadership skills to help inspire and encourage other artists. I enjoyed working with young artists and sharing my knowledge and experience with them, helping them to develop their own unique styles and techniques. In recognition of my contributions to the arts community, I co-founded the Santhus Art Academy. At the academy, we strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment where artists of all skill levels can come together to learn, grow, and express themselves through their art. As a co-founder, I am committed to ensuring that the academy remains a vibrant and dynamic center for artistic expression and creativity. Overall, my experience in the Indian Navy has given me a unique perspective and a set of skills that I believe have made me a better artist and teacher. I am grateful for the opportunity to have served my country and to have been able to pursue my passion for the arts at the same time. I was born in Kerala, India. I did my diploma in arts in 2003. At that time I got a job in Indian Navy. Work and drawing were carried together later. In the meantime, I was able to do BFA honors from Mysore University. Many exhibitions were done in India and abroad. Now i finds time to paint while working in the Ministry of Qatar
