ABOUT THE ARTWORK

This artwork was inspired by the story of Emperor Shah Jahan and his wife Mumtaz Mahal. The emperor proved that his wife deserved the majesty of the world by building the Taj Mahal after she died. Perhaps one of the greatest demonstrations of love. When the viewer knows the story, he feels the painting and the love deep down. In this artwork I tried to preserve my style developed years ago, a mixture of art deco, figurative and cubism.

Since I was a child I was influenced by landscaping, most of my paintings are part of the family heritage, a few years ago I decided to exhibit them with an evolution of my artistic maturity. My artworks seek to express the feminine essence along with some fantasy generated in the depths of my mind during the creative process. My cubist and figurative influences are marked in my latest works.
