Saint of the Shy Print

I always found the elements and symbolisms of the Christian Orthodox icons very peculiar. The elongated faces and limbs, the mysterious gestures and the non realistic size of the eyes of the saints, portrayed in these icons, reminded me of similar excessive features, often seen in manga. That and the fact that the Orthodox and Catholic churches, have a specific protector saint for almost any category of people or profession, resulted in this painting. The "shy", are one of those categories that have no saint assigned to them as a protector.
