I am interested in Hungarian history, in the good times, also the bad periods. We have been alternate past, some of them are almost unbelievable. The Soviet occupation’s time which took more than 40 years in my country was the time which I even heard back from my grandparents. They had stories, however I remember the soldiers walking on the streets. This era’s Hungarian aspect has one of the best documented background but a camera in a normal person’s hand was always suspicious. The point is that I chose a few photographs of this challenging time and painted them to express myself in my own way relating to my roots. I am interested in people who became the part of the system as police officers, state security members, political activists and so on. There is a straight line between the ones who joined the communist party and those who remained independent persons as far as it was possible. As an adult my interest tuned on the dark side of the human being’s behavior in challenging times. Why those many people became spies, party members or police officers, doing them job against them own nation? Important to mention that almost all the photos are manipulated of course. Them goal was to represent the normal figures of the system as hardworking, important persons who always act in the right way. This series might be a bit easier to understand from this angle. This one is painted on Jeans. A small concept got in the work in this way. Jeans was forbidden to wear in that time. Jeans meant the decadent West’s opium as they used to say at that time.

"Can things be deprived of their origins?" A challenging portraitist and emerging creator with a conceptual thinking. Huszti elaborates his constantly changing topics with momentum and precision. He depicts inside experiences, special characters and aspects from his past, using all kinds of materials but mostly the constant oil on canvas technic to express his interpretations. In addition he is also interested in historycal times particularly with the Hungarian past. His art consists of attributing new origins to things thus establishing new relations. He had got his diploma at University of Pécs, as a painter in 2005. Hungary. He spent one term at University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield, England. It was an experimential learning particularly regarding the conceptual art. He had been working in a professional studio at PP Center in Budapest for almost six years.
