What/who inspired the work? This piece is a result of my profound admiration for the beauty and serene quality of nature, particularly the tranquil and reflective nature of clear water. The elegance of water and nature inspired me, serving as an expression of my inner peace and journey of acceptance. What do you hope its viewers will feel/think? I hope that viewers will experience a sense of inner peace, tranquility, and serenity when they behold this painting. This artwork aims to allow viewers to immerse themselves in a serene atmosphere, fostering a deep connection with nature and their inner selves. I aspire for viewers to appreciate the beauty of simplicity and find solace in moments of tranquility. Why did you choose the medium, subject matter, style? I chose the medium of oil painting to best capture the elegance and tranquility of water and nature. The subject matter of a woman reclining in clear waters symbolizes inner peace, acceptance, and surrender to the flow of life. The style of the painting, characterized by soft brushstrokes and a subdued color palette, was chosen to enhance the sense of tranquility and invite viewers to immerse themselves in the beauty of the moment.

It seems that painting was not the choice for this artist, it was the gift given much earlier, even before his birth. Resul Rzayev was born in the art environment and was growing playing in the atelier. The smell of the oil and the rustle of canvas are integral part of his life. Rasul was born in 1990 in Azerbaijan and in 1993 his family moved to Istanbul/Turkey.
