Rocio Delgado San Miguel https://unrocio.my.canva.site/ Rocio, a resident of Oceanside CA, is the youngest of 6 siblings. She was born in Puerto Rico. Rocio grew up in Ciales, a beautiful town with caring people and impressive green mountains. She spent most of her summers with her family in a coastal city called Vega Baja where she enjoyed her days at the beach. Horses were a big part of Rocio's life, her father has Paso Fino horses and she passed on that love of horses to her at a very young age. Rocio lived in the Caribbean for 28 years. As a child, she showed an interest in art. She did the art for her graduating class in middle and high school. Rocio studied architecture for 3 years and graduated in Fashion Design. In 2006 she moved to San Diego where she did a BSHA and a Master in MPH. After finishing her master's degree, she started a non-profit organization called Coqui Saludable to help people live healthy lifestyles. Her art is an honest expression of her heart. Rocio's art evolved over time. From the diaspora, Rocio expressed on canvas how much she misses her Island, her art full of vibrant colors takes you back to the island of enchantment. Today her art is more mature and elegant. Rocio continues to paint passages and memories of her past and present experiences. Oil is his favorite medium.
