ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Along the shores of Lake Ontario I collect pieces of driftwood which resemble a human form. I then add wax to the wood, construct a figure and create a narrative. The wax is sturdy but delicate, so it is best to handle the sculpture by its wooden core. If unintentionally damaged I am happy to repair the sculpture free of charge but with the cost of shipping covered by buyer.

My quest for clarity in this tangled existence is why my ideas take form. I persist in creating sculpture with the intention to provoke and through the process find a kind of liberation for and from myself.
