As screen experiences increase and daily life changes, I have become interested in the gap between the experience of images through digital media and the experience of directly encountering objects and spaces. In particular, I wanted to explore formative language that could convey a pictorial experience that is different from the visuality of digital media. In this process, I began to focus on the texture and shape of various objects found in everyday life. Each object with its own unique physical properties revealed its own unique material beauty, and specific objects were selected and collected to be brought to the canvas. Each work, depicted accidentally or intentionally, is reminiscent of a part of nature or shows an appearance that resembles the nature of nature. ‘It grows on its own according to conditions, proliferating and accumulating organically and spreading irregularly. It has a unique texture depending on its physical properties, and involves various states and transformations of materials that are hard, shiny, or flowing.'
