Associative composition, using small everyday objects and the possibilities of color combinations to achieve an evocative expression. Photographed on film, scanned and printed on the highest quality archival paper Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 308 with a white border for easy framing. Formats are also available: 20x16cm, edition from 10 and 30x24cm, edition from10 This photograph is from the cycle "Photo games" created in 2023-2024 "Photo games" is a series of colour photographs about inspiration, the playful side of creativity, the secrets of coincidences and circumstances, light and related phenomena. The cycle consists of compositions of various scenes united by the method of execution and colour, as the main and most beautiful feature of light. "Photo games" are created by photographing still lifes and "capturing" the movements of a figure on a black wall, connecting these different materials like a puzzle, according to the (non)rules of the nonsense genre, which liberate from obsessive normality. The specificity of analog photography, when you "don't know what you'll get", is very suitable for such a game of chance and intuition. The subjects of the photo compositions are the most banal objects at hand, on the surface of which a sudden flash of light awakens a dormant impulse, promising a certain mystery that you will definitely want to solve.

Tania Serket is a professional photographer. She started working as an art editor in a publishing house, and later as a photographer for interior design magazines. Mainly all her images are made in enclosed space using black painted walls whilst experimenting with long shutter speed. The shapes created by movement live and die together. Movement compositions created on the wall mirror an effect similar to hypnosis. Light is also playing an important part, constantly reminding its importance in transformation in movement. Tania Serket is a Lithuanian photographer living in Vilnius. She has studied music and painting at the Lithuanian Academies and has managed to release several authorial photo albums, including "Interiors in Lithuania", "Life inside the country" and most recently: "Frozen music. National Opera and Ballet Theatre in Vilnius". She regularly participates in group and personal exhibitions in Lithuania. Her works have also been exhibited in galleries in the United States and France.
