ABOUT MY ARTWORK The "Habotai" series originates in a 115 square-meter acrylic artwork I created for the "Nissay Building" in Sapporo, Hokkaido. The artwork is a collage of photographs I was fortunate to take in several of Hokkaido's most beautiful National Parks I visited in all four seasons of the year. Here, I show the unseen details of the artwork. I have chosen natural silk because it has all the qualities I love: it is robust, airy, translucent and the colors come with beautiful clarity. Over the past six years, we experienced almost no desaturation of color. PUBLICATION The original acrylic artwork is published in the book "Hokkaido Colours ". http://www.expandbooks.de/01_hokkaido.php UNIQUENESS The unique, almost invisible hanging makes it very special. A slight projection on the wall gives a beautiful three-dimensional feeling. Hanging hardware is included on demand (no extra charge). Possible to wear it as a scarf. Hand-washing if needed. Ironing level 1, no chemical cleaning. This series has five different images and two different sizes. Small-size: 161 H x 32 W x 0.1 cm Large size: 161 H x 63,5 W x 0.1 cm You see the “Edition 437, Autumn Colors of Shikaoi", size 161 x 32 cm LIMITED EDITION of 21 plus 3 Artist's Proofs PRODUCTION I take great care and control the process of production myself. Each print (with my name) is for long permanence, giving you many years of viewing pleasure if cared for and displayed correctly. Artwork made in Germany. SHIPPING I take great care of the shipping. The silk is carefully wrapped in tissue paper, securely rolled up in a reinforced tube, and shipped in a double-paneled sturdy cardboard roll, ready for hanging or wearing. In the unlikely event that the print should arrive damaged, I will do my absolute best to remedy the situation.
