With my artwork I would like to draw attention to the finely tuned duality of sensitive changes and states of tranquility. In our early childhood we explored the world around us through games under our supportive parents’ supervision. As an adult, however, many of us engage in the cutthroat struggles to gain and reinforce power. My painting is the illustration of encountered questions and possible answers about one of the most important challenges, in our modern era that is universal peace. I chose the layout/structure of the monumental altar paintings in the early Renaissance as the basis of composition. The symmetrical arrangement is a modern transcript of Hubert and Jan van Eyck, the Dutch brothers’s famous piece called Adoration of the Lamb, which is displayed on the opened wings of Ghent Altarpiece, with matching motifs of the topic. On the composition of my picture the environment consists of two parts clearly separated by the water. There is one scene, two conflicting events, monochrome and swimming-blue colour scheme. The contrast of modest pastel shades and saturated colours deepen the key message of the picture: the importance of free choice. Are we wise enough to be children again, who do not act along the interests, but by the game?

"I wanted to break out of 'the grey' with my colours." Experiments with different materials, with the powerfully composed fragmented world of shapes and the strong juxtaposition of colours play a determinative role during the process of my creation. I use mixed techniques in order to find balance by merging them: oil, acrylic and watercolour, texture material or airbrush technique, canvas and wood and I sometimes cut and burn into the fibres. I often divide my paintings: one picture is a compound of two or more pieces. I may even sacrifice my figures occasionally by painting only parts of them to shape a unique composition. This fragmentation can be interpreted by the assistance of the viewer in order to finally put the work together into a whole. Experimenting with different materials, portraying colors in 3D, trying out different substances as surfaces are all parts of my geniune artistic view. The harsh compositions of my paintings are combined with sophisticated stories. Since my university years the research of the body of complex symbols and gestures have become my favourite means of expression and the featured motif of my individual faceless body images. In my paintings I am concerned with the themes of emotions and repressed desires expressed through body movements, with general human situations, relations and the illustrations of various roles just as well as the face as the carrier and projector of complex symbols, which is unique in all people and comprise never-recurring features.
