In my work, I explore the cyclical nature of life, and how our decisions can have a lasting effect on our lives and the world around us. Through my work, I seek to emphasize the importance of making thoughtful and mindful decisions, and how they can lead to meaningful and transformative change. I believe that our actions and choices have the power to shape our lives and the world around us and that by making positive decisions and taking positive steps, we can create lasting and meaningful change. By representing this concept in my work, I hope to inspire viewers to take action and make decisions that will lead to positive transformation. In this piece, I’m trying to depict the journey of a butterfly, Being a caterpillar that is only capable of crawling ever so slowly along on a twig to becoming a Butterfly that is capable of flying across seas and continents. This is a message of what is possible in our lives, of going beyond what we believe possible – to make the impossible a reality. The butterfly is a symbol of transcendence and spiritual development. This piece is therefore about maintaining focus and achieving your goals by evolving and evolving.

Kos Cos is an abstract artist from Sri Lanka residing in Hong Kong. He is known for his unconventional approach to art, which involves using bold brushstrokes, vivid colours, and movement. His art is influenced by the aesthetics of billboard paintings that were prevalent in Sri Lanka during the 1990s, as well as advertising. He was a finalist for the 2018 Royal Art Prize and was also chosen as one of the artists for Saatchi Art's inaugural NFT drop, 'The Other Avatars,' in 2022.
