A heavy multilayered work, done with oil paints on a high-quality linen canvas. This abstraction is painted in Riga in 2004 with the help of various construction tools (spatula, sponges, brushes). Lots of green hues. Smokey, foggy soul. The masterpiece is put into the wooden frame.

Estonia
Let me introduce myself. I am a self-educated artist, I don’t have a special academic education. I live and work in Tallinn, Estonia. A lawyer by training. I consider myself to be a creative and constructive person. I have been drawing/painting since my early childhood but spontaneously I began painting with oil and acrylic colours exactly 20 years ago, in 1998. I never do any preforms, I never think through the details and I never know the final result that may sometimes be absolutely unexpected:) All my works are my emotions and inspiration. I can paint pictures only in a good mood, when everything goes right, when I am happy or enamoured, when the soul sings, when I experience positive emotions or memorize successful and beautiful trip. My amazing mood, my positive energy is transmitted on the canvases and I hope to you as well. I had one personal exhibition in Riga in 2000 named “Poison dreams”, this was elucidated by the local press, the visitors were utterly different people from the town visitors up to ministers, and leaning on the left comments, nobody had an idea that I was not a professional artist:) My friends inspire me that I should be more brave and show my masterpieces to the world and not to keep them in a garage, where I create my pieces of work. Yet, I decided to try. I hope my bright and emotional masterpieces will find a repercussion in your hearts and minds and in addition will give you lots of positive emotions and happiness! Of course, I am worried while presenting you my latest works and I do hope that you will be astonished. Always yours and with warm wishes, Lora Maki
