Lotus Fruits is a vibrant and colorful diptych painting created with acrylic on MDF. The two panels feature intricate depictions of lotus leaves and fruits, which are portrayed in a burst of bright, cheerful colors. The lotus is a powerful symbol in many cultures, representing purity, enlightenment, and spiritual awakening. In this painting, I captured the beauty and vitality of this sacred flower through the use of bold, expressive brushstrokes and dynamic composition. The diptych format creates a sense of balance and harmony, with each panel enhancing the other to create a complete and cohesive work of art. Lotus Fruits is a joyful celebration of nature's beauty. It would make a stunning addition to any art collection, adding a burst of color and energy to any space. This painting was created by layering different materials and colors over time to create depth and contrast with the recycled MDF surface. This layering offers a great paint job that adds style and texture to the space. The “Lotus Fruits” series consists of 2 acrylic, mixed media on MDF (50x50x2.8 cm). The MDF panel is mounted on a frame. Ready to hang!

„I show the details instead of the whole, sort of inviting the viewer to embrace and understand their surroundings” Dora Stork was selected artist in the London Art Biennale in 2023, an award-winning Hungarian painter whose art has appeared in solo and group exhibitions in the UK, Hungary, and Romania. Her work can also be found in many private collections in the United States, the European Union, and Japan. Dora is an abstract realistic encaustic artist: abstract in the world of color, realistic in the world of form, and symbolist in meaning. As a politically minded painter, she is interested in public life as well as social and economic processes. She presents her particular vision in these works. The dreamlike compositions are her intuitive reflections on public issues. At the same time, seemingly astonishing, strange circumstances and inappropriate details on a rational sphere might evoke questions in the viewer. She mainly uses pure wax and pigments to make her paintings. Over the years, she has developed a medium that does not contain oil or any non-waxy additives. When she occasionally paints with acrylic, the characteristics of her figurative style transform into an imaginary interpretation of nature. Dora is an active, awarded member of her community and regularly takes part in their group exhibitions every year.
