ABOUT THE ARTWORK

My poetic inspiration is the Nature. In this series I am inspired by the Alamos trees. "It brings us a very strong symbolism of life, of cycles, of work, of the relationship with the environment and of the different moments we go through. We need to live life in its phases as trees live through the four seasons." Quote from the book "Dictionary of Symbols" by Jean Chevalier

My artistic proposal has as its starting point Nature, its colors and its designs. Based on the basic precepts of Anthroposophy, Integrative Art and Art Therapy, which aims to cure through art and the integration of man with nature, I use elements such as flowers, trees, gardens and landscapes. Since I was little, my joy was being in contact with the natural. And it was on the coast of São Paulo that I had my first contact with oil painting. When I went to the beach very early in the morning I watched an artist with her easel and paints: my first teacher. She reproduced all that beauty through her brushes. And it was at this moment that she looking at me and understanding my look of enchantment and admiration, asked: Do you like to paint? Want to learn? In that instant the brightness of the colors warmed my heart. Since then I have not stopped painting. In these thirty years of research and artistic production, Nature is a recurring theme. Through drawing, painting, collage and assemblage I use materials such as acrylic paint, natural pigments, anilines and dry pastels, reusing elements discarded by nature.
