About The Artwork
...the ocean slowly claiming the beach for its own... This work was inspired by a beautiful beach on Isle of Skye. The salt water snaked through the grains of the sand and the sand was unsteady. But the sand too was dissolving into the ocean slowly ebbing out with the currents. In the distance earth is steady still with the formidable hills lining the blue sky and holding all things in perspective. This painting is meant to be looked at closely from the bottom to the top so you can experience the Beach on the Isle of Skye.
