FLORES EX PARTE A series based on studies of things we see in a cemetery and how representations of love are left forgotten. 'Anniversaire' is part of a dyptich that pictures the slow decay of things (and memories). Our 'Flowers on the Side' series is based on our recognition of the sad and shadowy beauty of the paraphernalia accompanying tombs in every cemetery. So many different reminders of the burial's day: drooping flowers, wilted bouquets, worn out candles and dusty crucifixes covering headstones and fouling forever marble's dusty stillness.
