Skydiving, the sport that set him free, allows him to fully live life and be in osmosis with the elements. A lover of drawing and sketching, Richard uses his stroke as a way of composition. Hard to say whether the subject is composed or decomposed seeing its long coloured structure. The artist simplifies his painting to the stroke and sticks to the essence of his subject. This is how he creates his canvas like sprigs of DNA that interlace in order to form a singular being.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------Passée dans une cabane construite sur les ruines parisiennes de la Guerre de Cent Ans, Richard Pueo doit à son enfance une vision à la fois émerveillée et terrifiée de la nature. Sa pratique du parachutisme, qu’il qualifie de libératrice, lui permet de s’y sentir pleinement vivant, en osmose avec les éléments qui l’entourent. Sensible au dessin, Richard Pueo utilise le trait comme moyen de composition. Difficile à dire si le sujet se décompose ou se construit à la vue de ces longues touches colorées.
