Disregard Painting

Since i was a teenager i liked street art & graffiti. I still do now. I've often found some charm & sense of intrigue when i see a graffiti ridden wall in the street. Sometimes the colours & letters seem to add harmony to it's surroundings - on an old derelict building for example. Here i have demonstrated what i consider an influence of this in my work. I have even used a Graffiti "tag" lettering style as a background to create a homage to this. I think the grey blue lines work & flow beautifully & really give the painting something new & fresh.
