ABOUT THE ARTWORK
My artistic works have the particularity of carrying seeds of the guava fruit or seeds of the leaf of (BIJAO) which is a native plant of South America, and you will wonder why these materials, the story behind this comes from where I was born in a town called Velez in the state of Santander in my Clombia, in this town is the origin of the guava candy which is packed with these leaves that give it a more traditional smell and presentation when seeing the raw material of this product and bring something from my town in my works and that they know it all over the world I started to put it in my works and I saw something beautiful and some textures that I could not give only with brushes, I also want to transmit in my works the memories and beautiful moments that many Sometimes we no longer see in today's youth. This piece represents one of many friendly competitions during childhood.
